All self-service plans have the same core features and unlimited users; active-vehicle capacity is what changes. Selecting a plan does not start a payment. Pricing and availability are verified again at subscription checkout.
What stays the same
Same tools, whether you have 10 vehicles or 100.
Unlimited users. Add the drivers, dispatchers, managers, and maintenance personnel who actually need to participate without creating a seat-cost incentive to share accounts.
Full operational workflow. Vehicle availability, checkout and custody, inspections, faults, returns, maintenance posture, records, and the supporting management tools stay available across self-service tiers.
7-day no-card trial. Set up your fleet during the trial. At expiration, new operations require a paid plan that supports your active vehicle count. Clicking a plan or creating an organization does not charge you.

Pricing questions
What you can know before starting.
Do I need to buy GPS hardware?
No. Crew Keys is browser-based and its core shared-vehicle accountability workflow does not depend on GPS trackers or vehicle-installed hardware.
When do I pay, and is a card required for the trial?
The 7-day trial does not require a card. Creating an organization does not start a charge. Subscribing requires Stripe Checkout and the published billing price is shown before confirmation. Subscribing during the final 48 hours of a trial may begin paid billing immediately to avoid extending the trial.
Do you charge per user?
No. Self-service plans include unlimited users. Pricing is based on active fleet capacity rather than seats.
Do plans change what employees and managers can do?
No. Starter, Standard and Fleet include the same core workflows. Your organization owner assigns roles and permissions for administrators, fleet managers, dispatchers and other members; a higher vehicle tier does not unlock a different set of operational permissions.
What counts toward the vehicle limit?
Only active vehicles count toward a paid plan. The initial no-card trial is unmetered, but once a paid-plan Checkout is in progress, new active vehicles must fit the selected tier. Choose enough capacity for your fleet before the trial ends; contact Crew Keys if you need more than the self-service limits.
Can I switch or upgrade plans later?
Yes. You can manage plans through your organization Billing page. Larger-tier upgrades can take effect immediately once Stripe confirms the change; downgrades and billing-cadence-only changes are typically scheduled for renewal. Crew Keys checks that your active fleet fits the selected tier.
What happens at the end of the free trial?
To keep using the full operational workflow after the trial, choose a subscription and complete Stripe checkout. For new organizations, new operational activity stops at the end of the 7 days, with no extra free grace period, unless Stripe confirms an eligible paid subscription for a plan that fits your active fleet. You can still view and export records, return checked-out vehicles, and manage billing. Crew Keys never charges you automatically without a subscription.
What if our fleet is larger than the self-service tiers?
Contact Crew Keys about a custom deployment or multi-organization requirements instead of selecting a smaller plan.
